SMS radar technology has been developed to comply with international frequency allocation rules in the 24GHz ISM band. Formal approval documents can be achieved in a large number of countries and are already available for important regions. The used bandwidth is as small as possible but still as large as required for the intended applications.

The SMS radar technology uses narrowband solutions and therefor is not affected by the SARA "package solution". Licensing for series development and production is possible without restrictions regarding production date and/or number of equipped vehicles. See more.
